How It Began

How It Began

While sitting in the mezzanine of my home church, the pastor had mentioned several action items which I found inspiring and actionable. The sermon itself was nothing short of a blessing and encouragement.

Tell me why by Tuesday, I had forgotten most of what was said, including the action items that I was excited to practice.

"What If?" I thought.

What if I didn't have to forget? What if even if I forgot, there was a tool to help me remember?

Cedarly is the outcome of that question. It's coined from the promise in Psalms 92:12, The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. It symbolizes strength and beauty

It's a discipleship tool that summarizes sermons, including action items, so people like me can remember and, most importantly, act it out.

Struggling to remember the Sunday service that really resonated with me on Tuesday was my reality that I wasn't willing to live with

In our few months of existence, we've had great conversations with friends and discipleship enthusiasts.

Those early conversations have led us to improve with features like Friends that allow you to invite your friends to keep you accountable, because our Christian walk wasn't meant to be alone.

Though we are many, we are one body, knowledgeable in other languages apart from English. That's why all content is accessible in French, Spanish, and Chinese.

Our journey is just beginning, and we'd love you to try us out if you're a ministry leader curious about discipleship or a church attendee interested in doing more than just listening on Sundays.
