Where has your heart been looking lately—toward people and problems, or toward the God who “deserve[s] the glory” and is “worthy of it all”? Tonight’s call is simple and freeing: “Do not look unto any man… Just look onto God.” When our eyes lift to Him, worship becomes more than a song; it becomes a settling of the soul. We remember who sits on the throne, and we let Him “take absolute control.” But there’s more than comfort here—there is confidence. Tonight’s call is simple and freeing: “Do not look unto any man… Just look onto God.” When our eyes lift to Him, worship becomes more than a song; it becomes a settling of the soul. We remember who sits on the throne, and we let Him “take absolute control.” But there’s more than comfort here—there is confidence. The message keeps bringing us back to the cross, because when Jesus hung there He declared, “It is finished.” That means the battle that looks loud in your life is not louder than His finished work. Communion becomes “a table of triumph,” a reminder that in God’s kingdom “we win before we fight.” He doesn’t step into your situation hoping for a good outcome; He steps in from a victory position, already holding the end in His hands. Reflect on the Scriptures spoken tonight. God says He is the One “Declaring the end from the beginning… ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure’” (Isaiah 46:10). Jesus assures us, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). And our hearts answer with gratitude: “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). All of this points to Jesus—His body broken, His blood poured out, not in uncertainty but “in fulfillment.” At the table, we don’t beg for what He already purchased; we receive and celebrate what His love secured. The cross is God’s loudest “yes” over your life. So consider what you’re carrying into this new season. Fear, guilt, and condemnation don’t belong at this table. You’re invited to “see what God sees,” to “stand where grace places you,” and to “speak what heaven has spoken.” Your victory isn’t a wish; it’s a gift to be received. Take a quiet moment today. Lift your eyes again, thank Him for the finished work, and ask for His victory to be made manifest—healing, peace, wisdom, and strength—so His name alone is glorified.Read more
